In this Social Studies activity, students focused on the standard, SS1G2: The student will identify and locate his/her city, county, state, nation, and continent on a simple map or a globe. In this lesson I introduced the vocabulary words: address, city, county, state, country, continent, and planet with pictures. The students then filled out a concentric circle and labeled their own address, city, county, state, country, and continent.
