In my classroom, I conference with my students during Writer's Workshop. In our writing conferences we talk about some of the ways the students met the standard and things they can work on to meet the standard. I thought it would be a great idea to have the students conference with each other, so I created a simple checklist with the writing standards that they could use with each other.
